TEHRAN (NIOC) _ Operator of South Pars Phase 13 development project said the last platform of the offshore project was successfully installed in the Persian Gulf.
According to the Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC), Payam Motamed said Platform 13C was the fourth and last platform of the project . He said the 2,500-ton satellite structure was installed using an HL5000 barge . Having reached 98% completion, the platform was loaded at the yard of SADRA together with 13A Platform last month using a Push/Pull method, Motamed said . Once Platforms 13A and 13C come on stream, the phase’s gas output will increase by 28 mcm/d. The phase is developed for 56 mcm/d of gas production capacity .
