Because of its potentialities and huge energy reservoirs, Iran is presently standing in a position that can make the optimum use of all intrinsic talents, in order to define and employ significant initiatives for self-sufficiency and independence, because the country's specialized forces have proved, especially in industrial arenas, that if they have support, they are able to overcome challenges and problems facing our country and economy through relying on local abilities and talents within the country and using the experiences of other countries in different areas. As one of state key industries, before the revolution oil industry was entirely dependent on foreign countries, and although after the revolution positive and large steps were taken with regard to the country's self-sufficiency in oil industry, but there is still a wide ground for activity of the specialists and innovation.
